Lightweight, breathable and widely known as the world’s strongest fibre, linen is our favourite fabric. Made from the stalk of the flax plant, linen is a sustainable, biodegradable fibre that can be produced with minimal water, pesticides and fertiliser. It’s also fast-drying, naturally insulating and improves with age.
To maintain your garment’s quality, we recommend washing in cold or cool water (30 degrees maximum) with a dash of mild, natural detergent. Avoid fabric softeners. Don’t wash with heavier garments, such as jeans or jackets, as this can damage your linen.
To dry, lay the garment flat on a towel (avoid hangers) and leave in a shaded area. Once dry, store your garment in a cool, dry place, either hung or folded. Linen is prone to creasing with wear. You can iron it, but you should spritz garments with water before pressing; dampening linen relaxes its fibres, making it easier to remove creases.

Cotton

Durable and long-lasting, denim is a cotton-derived mid-weight fabric. Built for longevity, denim will improve with age and wear as it moulds to your body.

Before washing, turn your garment inside out and ensure pockets are empty. Please note that colours may bleed the first few washes; always wash with similar colours. Don’t overwash—your denim will last much longer.
To dry, shake wet denim to flatten creases, then lay to dry on a flat surface in a shaded area. Denim stiffens naturally when dried, but once worn it will quickly revert to its usual feel. To increase softness, steam or iron the garment inside out. Once dry, store your garment in a cool, dry place, either hung or folded.

Denim

Spun from the threads of the silk worm’s cocoon, silk is a soft, luxurious fabric that breathes well and insulates. Our collections include a variety of silk weaves, including CDC, Twill and Satin.
We strictly recommend professional dry-cleaning for silk items—particularly if the garment is stained. This is the best way to extend the life of your silk and maintain its subtle lustre and delicate feel. Please don’t wash your silk garment, even in cold water; it will shrink. Once cleaned, hang your garment in a cool, dry place.
Silk is prone to creasing with wear. We recommend steaming to remove creases. If you don’t have a steamer, hang your garment in the bathroom following a hot shower. If creases persist, flip your garment inside out and set the iron to low heat (or the silk setting, if applicable). Always put a cloth or tea towel between the silk and the iron to protect the garment. Only iron silk if it’s completely dry.

Our cashmere and wool knitwear is designed and manufactured using the finest, softest yarn. It will last the test of time with the right care. Don’t wash your knitwear after every use; instead, lightly brush your garment and hang it in a steamy bathroom to give it a quick refresh.
To maintain your garment’s quality, we strictly recommend dry cleaning only. Once cleaned, fold your cashmere and wool knitwear and store them in a cool, dry place. Don’t hang it; over time, gravity may cause the garment to stretch.
Being natural fibres, knitwear made with these yarns may pill with wear. This is not a sign of poor quality—quite the opposite; the more natural and soft the fibre, the more likely it is to pill. To keep your knit looking brand new, we recommend a de-pilling tool such as a cashmere comb or a high-quality electric pilling tool. Be mindful when using such tools, taking care to run only along the top surface without applying pressure or pushing too hard on the garment.

Cashmere & Wool

Linen knitwear is delicate in nature and care must be taken when washing your garment. This will maintain quality and ensure your garment&#8217;s longevity. To prevent damage, we recommend using a delicate bag and avoiding washing alongside garments with zips and buttons.

When washed, knitted linen has the tendency to tighten and may appear to have shrunk however this can be easily reminded with a warm steam iron to relax the fibres using hands to gently ease the garment back to its original shape.

While Tencel can refer to Lenzing’s modal fabric, ‘Tencel’ seen on labels typically refers to lyocell, a plant-derived fibre. We like Tencel because it’s biodegradable and can be produced with less resources than other similar fabrics.

Viscose (rayon) is a semi-synthetic fabric derived from natural sources. Viscose is a delicate fabric that requires special care to ensure its longevity.
We recommend professional dry-cleaning for viscose items &#8211; particularly if the garment is stained.  Please do not wash your viscose garment, even in cold water; it will shrink.
Once cleaned, you may find your garments appear a touch smaller. This can be easily remedied with a warm steam iron. The heat of the iron will relax the knitted fibres and the weave. When pressing, use your hands to gently ease the garment back to its original shape. Ensure not to over-press as excess heat and stretching may damage the garment.
Store your garment folded in a cool, dry place. We recommend folding to ensure the garment’s shape is maintained over time. Hanging such garments may cause the garment to lose its original shape.
