Venroy hosted a virtual cook-along to celebrate our Spring 21 collection launch, new logo and website – with Sean Moran from his restaurant, Sean’s at Bondi Beach.
The guests wore their favourite pieces from the collection, learned how to make Sean’s signature pasta and spent the evening dreaming of an Italian escape.
In June 2021 we opened our first Melbourne store, Venroy Armadale. Created in collaboration with architect and designer Sarah I’Anson, the space embodies the ethos of our brand—live life supremely relaxed. Echoing the unhurried, uncomplicated elegance of our favourite coastal escapes, the design directly references the muted tones and tactile materials of Danish architect Jørn Utzon’s Majorcan summer house. Utzon, who designed the Sydney Opera House, has long been a source of inspiration to Venroy’s Founder and Director, Sean Venturi.
In celebration of Venroy Bondi’s fifth anniversary in summer 2020, we collaborated on a walk-through installation with local artist (and friend of the brand) Daimon Downey. Titled Confetti Bomb, the work was explosive, colourful, gorgeous, energetic. Conceptualised by Daimon, the piece was made to mimic ‘the intensity and enjoyment of being in the eye of the right kind of party’—a perfect encapsulation of the spirit of Bondi.
